While the theme should be Happy New Year at this point, I’m eager to share with you guys the project I was working on in December, for NewSpring. Along with the video, posted below, here are some pictures of us working on set.
This was a project for their Christmas sermon series “Something for You,” which played across their campuses in the Upstate during the Christmas holiday. The series highlights several true-to-life stories, showing that no matter your pain or your past, there is love and forgiveness to be found in the gospel, the greatest Christmas gift of all. They’ve shared with me some wonderful feedback on how the pieces have helped bring healing and perspective to many of the people who saw them. So, that’s cool! It’s so rewarding to be able to do work that is meaningful and impactful in the lives of others.
This was my first time working with NewSpring, and even more excitingly, it was my first job with Millie Lewis. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I just signed with ML back in November, and, while I’m thrilled at the prospect of doing on-camera work, this isn’t necessarily my primary focus. VO is where it’s at for me right now, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I’ve been so impressed and delighted with my Millie Lewis projects, especially the professionalism and creative collaboration I’ve experienced on set, that I’m really intrigued with the possibilities of delving a little deeper into this part of the business.
And yes, if you were paying close attention, I did say projects as in more than one! I’ll be chatting about the latest commercial work as soon as I get some footage from the production company.
In the meantime, enjoy a little Christmas remnant with this.
Thanks for stopping by!
